Place the earplug on the Alpine insert tool.
This makes it easier to guide the earplug into your ear.
2. Insert
Gently lift the top of your ear with one hand. With the other hand, slide the earplug into your ear canal using the insert tool.
Push it in until it feels snug and comfortable. It should sit securely and not stick out. A small twist can help it settle into place.
3. Remove
Gently pull the small mini-grip tab to take the earplug out.
4. Clean
Clean your earplugs regularly with warm water and mild soap or Alpine Clean spray.
Let them dry completely before using them again.
No. MotoSafe earplugs are designed to reduce harmful wind noise, not block all sound completely.
They reduce:
- Wind noise (the main cause of riding fatigue)
- Harmful high noise levels
You can still hear:
- Your motorcycle engine
- Traffic and horns
- Navigation instructions
- Bluetooth intercom or music (may require slight volume adjustment)
- Emergency vehicle sirens
Completely blocking all sound would be unsafe while riding. MotoSafe filters selectively reduce harmful noise while maintaining situational awareness.
