Advantages of custom musician earplugs
Alpine MusicSafe custom earplugs provide excellent protection against hearing damage without distorting your music. This is thanks to the linear attenuation of the Pro filters, which reduce all frequencies evenly. With the replaceable 19, 22, or 26 dB filters, you can adjust the sound reduction to match the volume of the music. If desired, you can purchase additional Pro filters for your custom earplugs. Thanks to the digital production technique and the soft material, both the fit and wearing comfort are outstanding. Alpine custom musician earplugs are available in six different colors and come with a convenient storage case.

How does the fitting of musician earplugs at Alpine work?
After placing your order, you make an appointment for the fitting of your custom musician earplugs. The process is as follows:
- You go to the Alpine head office or the Hans Anders branch where you made your appointment. Bring your order number and make sure your ears are clean
- We review your order together, while enjoying a warm or cold drink
- Your ear canals are inspected and the ear canal is sealed with a cotton wool
- We apply the fitting paste. After about 90 seconds of hardening, it is removed, along with the cotton wool
- You may go home. We use the 3D impressions to make your custom musician earplugs
- About 2–3 weeks after the fitting, you will receive a mailbox package with your new custom music / DJ earplugs
Alpine custom musician earplugs are made specifically for you. This ensures optimal wearing comfort. And because the earplugs fit your ear canal perfectly, they provide better hearing protection than universal earplugs or non-custom musician earplugs. In addition, replaceable filter sets are available for our custom musician earplugs. Besides Pro filters, you can also optionally insert Regular filters into your earplugs and use them as motorcycle earplugs!
Custom musician hearing protection can be fitted at the Alpine head office in Utrecht or at a Hans Anders branch. Please note, earplug fittings are by appointment only!
The lifespan of custom music earplugs varies for everyone. Some musicians are unlucky and need new custom music earplugs after just 2 years, while others can use one set of custom music earplugs for up to 10 years. On average, Alpine custom music earplugs need to be replaced after 4 to 5 years.
You will receive your custom-made music earplugs within 2 to 3 weeks after the fitting. You will get an email with a Track & Trace code once your order has been shipped, but since it is a mailbox package, you do not need to stay at home for it.
At Alpine, we consider it very important that you are satisfied with your hearing protection. That is why we offer a standard 3-month fit warranty and a 12-month material warranty on all custom earplugs.
